CPKC Stadium

Kansas City, MO

Join us for a milestone event convening leaders in person and virtually nationwide. Together, we’ll explore how creating spaces where women thrive fuels stronger businesses, economies, and communities.

The first stadium in the world built specifically for a women’s professional team is a landmark of pride and possibility. It echoes United WE’s three decades of advancing women’s civic and economic opportunities—through research, policy, and evidence-based programming.

From boardrooms to cultural institutions, from public policy to sports, women and allies are shaping environments that create opportunity for everyone. Join us as we shine a spotlight on some of these extraordinary individuals and celebrate United WE's 35th anniversary of impact.

CO-HOSTS

Inaugural Champion for Change Award Recipient

Brittany Mahomes

Co-Owner, Kansas City Current

Brittany Mahomes will be honored for the lasting economic and cultural impact she has made in Kansas City and beyond through her leadership, entrepreneurship, and investment in women’s professional sports. An entrepreneur, investor, athlete, mother of three, and co-owner of the Kansas City Current, Brittany has helped elevate women’s sports as both a cultural force and a growing economic engine — including through investment in the first stadium purpose-built for a women’s professional team. Through the 15 and the Mahomies Foundation, she and her husband, Patrick Mahomes, have contributed millions to initiatives advancing children’s health, wellness, and opportunity in underserved communities. Her leadership demonstrates that when women are visible, invested, and at the decision-making table, communities and economies grow stronger.
