United WE Names Breanne Fritcher Director of Marketing and Communications
(KANSAS CITY, MO) – United WE is pleased to announce the appointment of Breanne Fritcher as Director of Marketing and Communications. In this role, Fritcher will lead the organization’s marketing and communications strategy, expanding the reach of United WE’s research and solutions addressing barriers to women’s workforce and civic participation. She will help elevate the organization’s work across caregiving, occupational licensing and civic leadership, translating research and lived experience into compelling stories that broaden public understanding and build momentum for change.
“As United WE continues to grow its reach and impact, strategic communications are essential to bringing our work to life and connecting more people to our mission,” said United WE President & CEO Wendy Doyle. “Breanne brings a strong track record of strategic storytelling, along with a real passion for mission-driven work. We’re excited to have her help elevate the stories, research and solutions that are moving women and communities forward.”
Fritcher brings more than a decade of communications and public relations experience spanning strategic communications, media relations, content development, digital marketing and brand storytelling. Most recently, she served as Associate Director at Wachsman, where she developed and executed communications strategies for multiple clients, led media relations and executive communications, and helped organizations distill complex topics into messaging that resonates with target audiences.
Previously, Fritcher spent nearly seven years at Page Communications, progressing to Senior Public Relations Account Executive and managing communications campaigns for local and regional clients.
“Throughout my career, I’ve seen that the most powerful communications do more than tell a story—they inspire action,” said Fritcher. “United WE’s mission immediately resonated with me, and I’m excited for the opportunity to use strategic storytelling to elevate its research, engage communities and help advance solutions that create greater economic and civic opportunities for women.”
Fritcher holds a Bachelor of Journalism in Strategic Communication with a Business minor from the University of Missouri, where she graduated magna cum laude. Her work has also been recognized by the Greater Kansas City Public Relations Society of America with multiple PRISM Awards.
