United WE Welcomes Amber VP Moore as Operations & Project Coordinator
Accomplished administrative leader brings extensive experience in public health and municipal operations to support organizational growth
(Kansas City, MO) – United WE, a nonpartisan nonprofit that works to advance all women’s economic and civic leadership, is pleased to announce the hiring of Amber VP Moore as Operations & Project Coordinator. In this vital role, Moore will strengthen United WE’s internal systems, logistics, and cross-team coordination to ensure the consistent execution of high-impact work.
Moore joins United WE following a distinguished career within the City of Kansas City, Missouri, most recently serving as the Assistant Director of Administration for the Health Department. In that capacity, she directed comprehensive administrative operations and partnered with division heads to enhance departmental processes. Her deep background in civic operations also includes serving as Scheduler and Special Assistant to Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas, where she managed high-profile calendars and served as an organizational anchor for office operations.

As Operations & Project Coordinator, Moore will provide a strategic blend of project management and operational support, coordinating cross-departmental timelines and maintaining essential organizational documentation. Her role is central to translating United WE’s ambitious plans into action, ensuring that no detail falls through the cracks as the organization advances women’s economic and civic leadership.
Moore holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Missouri and a certification as an Administrative Assistant from Johnson County Community College. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a unique ability to manage challenging projects under pressure, notably supporting the Director of Health through the complexities of the COVID-19 pandemic.
