Partner With Us

Identifying barriers to systemic change through issues focused on strengthening our economy overall.

Our Areas of Focus

  • United WE is addressing critical barriers in childcare and eldercare. Access to safe and affordable childcare ensures women are able to fully participate in the workforce. Additionally, taking time away from work to care for children and aging family members is costly for businesses and communities. United WE works to support leaders and policy makers with the evidence they need to make systemic change.

  • Occupational licensing practices can create unnecessary barriers to women by restricting entry into professions, impacting women’s ability to reenter the workforce after leaving to start a family, reducing employment, and creating economic inequity. United WE works to decrease overregulation through research and advocating for evidence-based reforms that streamline licensing processes, increase reciprocity between states, and eliminate requirements that do not demonstrably protect public health and safety, ultimately fostering greater economic opportunity for women.

  • For years, United WE has led non-partisan policy improvements in the Midwest region and advises national partners on workforce issues. Our unifying approach is successful because of diplomatic skill and a commitment to civility. Through convenings, thought leadership and research-backed conversations, United WE works to scale our proven approach to sustainable and effective change across the country. Our goal is to inspire leadership that is reflective of the communities it serves.
